IN MY OPINION: Anyone seriously researching a family with strong roots in Iroquois County should run-not-walk to the nearest library and get their hands on a copy of Beckwith's History of Iroquois County. This is an OLD book, full of names, places, and events.

OBITUARIES ON LINE Although The
Daily Journal is in Kankakee County, it carries obituaries for a wide
area. They are posted daily and archived since sometime in 1996. I
do not know if they plan to publish any earlier archives.
